Day 99 : Hong Kong 2/3

Second day in Hong Kong. Others friends from Taiwan have joined us !

Today we gonna visit the Hong Kong Island, an island in the southern part of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It's where is the financial center. We rediscover the building we have seen last night. I prefer by day. We begin with Victoria Peak, the highest mountain on the island with a spectacular view of the city. It was too foggy to completely enjoy the view but it was still great ! We walk a little around and find a cute park.
Then we go back to the "city" trying to find a restaurant. We choose a Japanese one and it is tasty ! Lots of people say that food is expensive in Hong Kong. However you can still find some nice place where it's not expensive. And a Big Mac Meal cost only 2€50...
We visit the streets and different districts. Sometimes we cross a market, the luxury shops, many historical sites and various large shopping centres. Hong Kong is like a huge shopping mall where you can find everything, It has no sales tax, and is also a duty-free port. Lots of goods are cheap but be careful of  counterfeit !
At night we walk along the bay, take others pictures and go back with a ferryboat to Kowloon Island. There we watch the "A Symphony of Lights". It's a night light show accompagnied by music every night at 8:00 pm. It features a display of laser beams with synchronised building exterior decorative lights. I prefer the show in Singapore !
